THOUSANDS of people from across the country are gathering in London for a bit of flower power.
But David Goode, from Oxford, was one exhibitor who didn’t have a plant in sight at the Chelsea Flower Show yesterday.
And each year is like coming full circle for the 45-year-old sculptor from Iffley Village, who has been showing off his bronze sculptures, based on folklore, since 1995.
He said: “It is a great place to show off sculptures and there’s a lot of them here.
“The first time I came here I had one of my sculptures in a show garden. Alan Titchmarsh said it was his favourite.”
