A teenager has been spared jail after slicing a man’s ear open with a nail hammered in to a wooden stick.
Randell Geary, 18, of Croxford Gardens, Kidlington, admitted causing grievous bodily harm to George Stevens on July 17 last year At Oxford Crown Court yesterday, he was given a 12 month prison sentence, suspended for a year, told to do 200 hours’ unpaid work, attend a restorative justice scheme and pay £1,500 compensation.
