Freelance photographer Paul Freestone has taken eight years to compile Eccentric Man (Incompetent, £12) a biography of his favourite musician, guitarist Tony McPhee. Best known for his band The Groundhogs, during the 1960s he backed John Lee Hooker, Little Walter and Jimmy Reed. The book contains a discography, band family tree, chart entries, etc.
