NICK Clegg’s statement that he wants to end class distinction is a case of the pot calling the kettle black.

The Conservative element of this unworkable coalition has always been the instigators of an upper class always associated with wealth and business investors. Mr Clegg has got his lines crossed yet again with a statement that he does not understand.

The Conservatives have always wanted a society based on wealth so the working class have no chance of moving up a notch in the present hard times.

In fact, their lot is falling lower and lower with the unfair system with which Cameron and Co are pressing ahead, like the NHS sell-off that is quietly being probed behind the scenes of the stranglehold that is choking the Great out of Great Britain.

Mr Cameron is the opposite of fairness, taking from the poor to give to the rich. Where is the upper class act in that?

After all, it is the working class that has kept this country afloat for years with the high taxes and NI contributions that more than outweigh what Nick Clegg’s upper class contributes.

This Government is destroying what the public have worked so hard to obtain – fairness all round.
