CHILDREN were swept along to other worlds yesterday, meeting dinosaurs, storm clouds and angels.
Pupils from St Ebbe’s Primary School in Whitehouse Road, South Oxford, took a trip to the Story Museum to see its first exhibition.
Other Worlds, which has been open since the start of this month, closes to the public tomorrow.
Exploring the many rooms was five-year-old Lewis Pettigrew, who said: “I liked dressing up as the dinosaur.”
Fellow pupil Imogen Phillips, pictured, said: “I liked the dark room with the shed in it. I liked the lights on the floor. I wasn’t scared.”
Story Museum co-director Tish Francis said: “Other Worlds has been out of this world.
“We’ve had an absolutely tremendous response to the exhibition from people of all ages, who’ve been writing their responses on labels and tying them on the stairs. The exhibition has given us a taste of things to come.”
The Story Museum is due to open in 2014, but is organising a host of events and exhibitions in the run-up.
