AS an avid Oxford Mail reader and keen cyclist, I read about the £840,000 that is going to be spent on improving safety blackspots around Oxford, as well as filling up potholes and painting lines.
I think some of that money should be spent on some form of enforced cycling education, as it might help councillor Colin Cook and the chairman of Cyclox, Richard Mann, both pictured in the paper, cycling in Oxford with not a high-viz jacket or helmet between them.
