Hundreds of people are expected to turn out across the county to pay their respects during today’s repatriation.
Captain Stephen Healey, from 1st Battalion The Royal Welsh, was killed in Afghanistan on Saturday.
The plane carrying the 29-year-old’s body will land at RAF Brize Norton at about 1.30pm and the cortege will pass the memorial garden on the edge of Carterton at 4pm.
The cortege will arrive at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford at 5pm.
