THE Labour Party has never acknowledged the country was left with devastating debts under their watch, and, if it was, it was nothing to do with them.

Known as a tax and spend party, Labour have now added another string to their bow – ‘tax, spend and borrow’, always leaving a poisoned chalice to any successor.

How you can spend and borrow your way out of debt is beyond me, but then I am just a simple bricklayer and have never been to university.

Or is it that some of today’s politicians are wearing a magic suit of clothes which only the intelligent can see?
