POLICE have released CCTV images of men they want to trace after a violent brawl broke out in the Wood Farm area of Oxford.
Thames Valley Police released the pictures last night after a large group of youths gathered on the estate and started fighting in the street last month.
A man was assaulted in the Happy Cod chip shop by a number of men, but police said the victim had not come forward.
Witnesses at the time told police 30 men descended on the area armed with hammers and dog chains.
Police said they believed the violence could have been a revenge attack for an earlier burglary.
Pc Karen Zoldan said: “This was a large scale disorder, and we are investigating it as an offence of affray.
“We won’t stand for disorder of this kind and we will prosecute those responsible.
“I would urge anyone who recognises either of the men, or has any information which may help with the investigation, to contact me.”
The violence broke out about 9.45pm on Saturday, April 21.
Anyone with information should call Pc Zoldan on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
