THE Old Fire Station in Oxford was shrouded in darkness this week.
A tragicomic play set entirely underground was put on at the George Street venue as part of the Oxfringe festival.
The Mole and The Worm tells the story of a Spanish potholer who discovers an English girl buried underground and follows their relationship.
Oxfringe runs until tomorrow. But there are more than a dozen shows taking place before the final curtain comes dows. Visit oxfringe.com for more details.
