  • Graham Durham, 45, of The Lees, Faringdon, admitted stealing power tools in Crick Road, Oxford, on June 25. Given 150 hours’ unpaid work with £85 costs.
  • Melissa Garlick, 29, of Blue Mountains, Wallingford, admitted shoplifting £229.82 of food and household items from Sainsbury’s in Oxford on May 12. Told to pay a £160 fine, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

  • Christopher Banfield, 46, of Springfield Road, Wantage, admitted drink-driving in Charlton Road, Wantage, on April 11. Had 214mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood, above the legal limit of 80mg. Given a four-week curfew and told to pay £85 costs. Banned from driving for two years.
  • Joanna Brealey, 33, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted being in charge of a motor vehicle while above the legal alcohol limit in Harefields, Oxford, on March 26. Had 84mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood, above the legal limit of 80mg. Detained in the courthouse until end of the day.
  • James Burgess, 37, of Lower Field Road, Reading, admitted drink-driving in Botany Gardens, Crowmarsh, on May 12. Had 78mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mcg. Fined £250, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 18 months.

  • Jess Webb, 26, of Stanmore Crescent, Carterton, admitted shoplifting £285.34 of alcohol from the Co-op in Black Bourton Road, Carterton, on May 28; shoplifting three bottles of Champagne valued at £90 from Marks & Spencer in Witney on May 10; and shoplifting six washing gels from the Co-op in Northfield Farm Lane, Witney, on May 15. Given a six-month drug-rehabilitation requirement with nine months’ supervision.
  • Kevin Browne, 35, of Stone Stanton Road, Coventry, admitted driving a stolen Mitsubishi L200 between July 27 and September 12 last year in Oxford and driving without insurance and without a licence. Given a three-month curfew and told to pay £300 costs. Given six penalty points.
