A 23-YEAR-OLD from Greater Leys pointed a sawn-off shotgun at his ex-lover and her best friend, a court heard.
James Bisson pulled the 60cm double-barrelled gun out of a rucksack and brandished it at the 20-year-olds, telling them: ‘Open wide’.
After the brief confrontation with his ex-girlfriend Jazmin Grey-Turner and Jodie Marshall at a house in Dunnock Way, Blackbird Leys, Bisson then started to weep, the court heard.
Bisson, of Sage Walk, denies possessing a prohibited firearm and possessing a firearm with intent to cause the women fear of violence.
Prosecutor Nicholas Doherty told Oxford Crown Court yesterday the incident happened at 5pm on January 29. The defendant, who had been drinking, was pulled away from the upstairs bedroom by a friend, Darian Rivers, and was then heard sobbing in a nearby bathroom, Mr Doherty added.
Armed police were dispatched to the house, but he had already left, the jury was told.
The unloaded gun and rucksack were later found in a shed in Sage Walk.
Bisson told police during an interview that the women had made up the allegations. He admitted being in the house but said he was there to buy cannabis and did not threaten violence with a gun, said Mr Doherty.
The trial continues.
