SUPERMARKET shoppers raised £4,000 to support a Didcot school project.
Ladygrove Park Primary School received the cash from the Bags of Help scheme at the town's Tesco Superstore.
The scheme sees money raised from the sale of carrier bags ploughed back into community projects, voted for by customers.
Stores shortlist three causes, and customers then choose which should benefit by placing a blue token in the relevant box.
The school won with 36,160 votes and will use the cash to improve its playground.
