Sir - The meadow adjacent to Warneford Hospital is rough and rural in character. It is a delightful tranquil space within a hectic city.
Despite the meadow being rich in wildlife, plans are being made to develop it. So many of Oxford's internal green spaces are now being built upon and lost. They are as vital to the character and well-being of the city as its green fields beyond.
Oxford City Council will be considering the development proposals for Warneford Meadow in November.
If people value the green lungs of Oxford, they should object to the development at Warneford Meadow as soon as possible.
Details of how to object can be found at cpreoxon.org.uk
