VALE of White Horse Under 14s were denied victory by a last-gasp equaliser in a 1-1 draw against nine-man Mid Oxon in the Vale Cup at Milton United.
Despite being two players short, Mid Oxon battled superbly, with goalkeeper Joe Whittingham outstanding, before finally conceding ten minutes from time when George Goodenough buried a shot from ten yards.
But Mid Oxon refused to lie down, and Dominic Roberts headed home at the death from eight yards after a corner was only partially cleared.
