DIDCOT Town boss Gary Elkins is hopeful that Lee Henderson will make the squad for tomorrow’s trip to Paulton Rovers in Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 South & West tomorrow.

The defender only recently returned after a double leg fracture, but limped off 46 minutes into Monday’s 1-0 defeat at Mangotsfield following a challenge.

Elkins said: “He went in for a tackle and suffered a bang on the leg on the point of the break, but he should be fine.”

As well as Henderson, Didcot give late fitness tests to ankle injury victims Ricky Allaway and Jack Bernascoli. Mark Janes is banned.

North Leigh manager Mark Gee saw his side go down 5-0 at Sholing on Wednesday night and says hit and miss displays have cost them dear.

“This season we have been so inconsistent, so now have nothing to play for,” he said.

Gee’s men are without striker Declan Shepperd (county under 18 duty) for their trip to Mangotsfield.

Banbury United host Bedford Town in the Premier Division.
