Put into bat, Wallingford managed a respectable 175-9 with 33 apiece from Ian Saunders and Rob Sessions.

Adam Fleetwood (3-45) and Anthony Smith (3-61) bowled well for Tew.

Rob Hood (55) and Dave Powles (46) then put on 96 for the first Tew wicket.
