OXFORDSHIRE have made several changes for the second match of their Unicorns Counties Championship campaign against Devon at Banbury, starting on Sunday, writes MICHAEL KNOX.
Unlike the washed-out opening Western Division game against Wiltshire a fortnight ago, when Oxon fielded two Sussex-contracted players, this time they have picked a home-grown side.
Jordan Garrett and Miles Hammond, who are not required by Gloucestershire, come into the side along with Horspath’s Harrison Ward, Aston Rowant seamer Leo Bethell and the Banbury duo of Brad Taylor and Jack Wilkins
They replace the Sussex duo Delray Rawlins and Abidine Sakande, plus Joe White, Joe Thomas, Hendrick Robyns and Will Rooney.
The Wiltshire match at Great & Little Tew lasted just one day, on which 15 wickets fell, before rain prevented any play on the remaining two days.
Oxfordshire: J Cater (capt), L Bethell, T Condon, H Eltham, J Garrett, M Hammond, R Kaufman, L Sabin, B Taylor, J Wilkins, H Ward.
l OXFORD University are taking on Cambridge in the annual T20 Varsity Match at Fenners today, starting at 2.30.
