OXFORD United today had a famous face watching their preparations for Luton Town.
Ian Wright is a friend of U’s boss Karl Robinson, who on Saturday said he was looking to bring people in who could help turn their form around.
He told the club's website: “On Sunday we were talking and we said maybe to try something outside the box and for him to come in and just give us a different thought process – nobody has all the answers so it’s good to get a different view on things.
“So he came in, went through a few clips and I know he spoke with the strikers about their role in the team.”
Jamie Hanson has shrugged off the calf injury he collected in Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at AFC Wimbledon.
Gavin Whyte also came off, suffering from fatigue. The winger is likely to start again, although Samir Carruthers is available and is likely to feature.
Luke Berry, Lloyd Jones and Marek Stech are missing for the visitors, while Danny Hylton is a doubt to face his former side (hamstring).
