DIVISION 2 leaders Gladiators pulled off a shock result by winning 4-2 at Oxford & District League Division 1 side Berinsfield, writes PETE EWINS.
The match was sealed after the singles, with Paul Lovegrove, Dave Jarman, Bob Pincombe and top-scorer Keith Gardner.
Berinsfield recovered by taking both pairs, but the damage had been done.
Visitors Masons came from behind to beat Oracle B 4-2.
Melvyn Johnson put the hosts in front, before Alan Lowe, Chris Bateman and Dave Rose made it 3-1 to Oracle. The pairs were then halved.
Premier Division leaders Oracle A were held to a 3-3 draw at Donnington.
Undefeated Mark Trafford (10,710) put the visitors in front before Mellissa Standbridge and Dennis Atkins made it 2-1.
Brian Rose then squared the match at 2-2 before the pairs were shared.
