CRICKET: Oxfordshire launch new school competitions
A NUMBER of tournaments will be held across the county this year to encourage more girls to play the sport.
The Oxfordshire Cricket Board are offering pairs, softball and hardball competitions for the under 13 and 15 age groups.
Tournaments will be open to both state and independent girls secondary schools, while festival days will be run throughout the year.
The deadline for registration is Friday, March 29.
