The striker signed a short-term deal on Friday following 56 goals in 121 games for Lewes.

He watched the goalless draw at Burton Albion on Saturday, but it may be a while before he is part of the matchday squad.

Boss Karl Robinson intends to take it slowly with the 24-year-old when it comes to playing for the first team.

“He’s a long way off being anywhere near,” the head coach said.

“He’s just come out of playing non-league football.

“We’ll introduce him with some of the under 23 games and really build him in that way and get him training with us.
