SNOOKER: Highfield B closed the gap at the top of the Oxford & District League Division 1 table.
Their 4-2 win at basement side Woodstock coupled with J’s Sports Bar A’s 5-1 defeat at Premier Division champions-elect Abingdon Conservative Club A sees just two points now separating the teams.
Jay Roberts won twice for Highfield, but the victory was secured by the narrowest of margins, Andy Benwell beating Priyan Shah 48-47 to grab the all-important sixth point.
