WHEATLEY and Gosford All Blacks are set for a memorable weekend.

Both sides will field three teams on Saturday, with their third XV’s facing each other in a friendly.

It will be the first time in 24 years that Wheatley have done so, while it has been more than ten for Gosford.

Meanwhile, Banbury’s Under 11s took part in the Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup in Cheltenham.

Despite finishing unbeaten, they just missed out on a trip to Twickenham.

Banbury player Miller Somerton said: “We didn’t lose any of our games and I’m really proud of the team.

“We just kept it plain and simple and if we had made it more complicated we wouldn’t have performed so well.

“On the last game people were saying that we should do this or that, but as we kept it simple we won and didn’t concede any tries.

“The team stuck together and helped each other in the games.”
