ALAN Hill is hoping for a profitable afternoon on home turf tomorrow.

The Aston Rowant trainer has made seven entries for the Kingston Blount Racing Club meeting and looks to have solid chances.

Hill is hopeful of a bold showing from Allie Beag in the intermediate race, which acts as a qualifier for the final at Cheltenham in May.

“We want to run her, as it’s a home game,” Hill said.

“She pulled a muscle at Ampton and it’s taken time to get her right but we’ve changed her training regime and are expecting a lot better performance.”

The mare is one of 15 possibles, but is likely to face stiff opposition.

Beggars Bush, Gadrose, Latenightpass, Timmie Roe and Urban Storm are all winners this season and could take their chance.

The men’s open has 14 entries with Man Of Steel likely to represent Hill, who in the ladies’ open is set to run either Laurium or For ‘N’ Against.

The six-race card gets under way at 1pm.

Entry is £15 per person, which includes a racecard, with under 18s free. The course is located at OX39 4SG.
