HARRY Jones won three medals across a busy weekend.
The Banbury youngster took gold in the boys’ doubles at the Oxfordshire Under 17 tournament at the White Horse Leisure and Tennis Centre in Abingdon.
Launton’s Joshua Peverell and Drayton’s Andrew Norkett landed bronze.
Jones also won bronze in the mixed doubles.
A day earlier, he reached the final of the Buckinghamshire Under 17 Silver tournament in Milton Keynes, but was beaten 12-15, 15-8, 15-7 by Hertfordshire’s Thomas Sweetnam.
Eynsham’s Maddy Cook was also successful in Abingdon, winning silver in the singles and doubles, partnering Sutton Courtenay’s Holly Craig.
Rebecca Norkett, of Drayton, took bronze in the latter event, with Wantage’s Adam Burden third in the boys’ singles.
Oxford’s Clement Jin won bronze in the West Midlands Under 13 tournament in Birmingham.
