OLIVER Butler dominated proceedings at the Under 15 National Championships when winning a hat-trick of titles in Essex.
The Oxfordshire player triumphed in the singles as well as the boys’ and mixed doubles in Barkingside.
Butler became the county’s second singles national champion of the year after Ethan Rose, when beating Buckinghamshire’s Ethan Hosken 15-21, 24-22, 21-15.
This was followed by his mixed doubles victory with Tashvi Parab (Bucks).
They overcame the pairing of Hosken and Leona Lee (Hertfordshire) 22-20, 12-21, 21-9.
Butler completed a fine tournament when joining forces with Hosken to win the boys’ doubles, beating Robin Harper (Warwickshire) and Fred Robertson (Yorkshire) 23-21, 21-11.
The Oxon star returns to his county duties this weekend when the under 16s face Lancashire for a place in next month’s Shires League finals.
