ABINGDON Vale landed seven medals at the 15 years and over South East Championships in Wycombe.

Lottie James won gold in the 50m backstroke, 100m backstroke and 200m individual medley (IM) as well bronze in the 200m backstroke.

Natalia Druett (silver 50m breaststroke and bronze 200m IM) and Jana Cooper Marcos (bronze 50m freestyle) were also in the medals.

Bicester Blue Fins members also impressed, with nine competing in High Wycombe.

Among them was Freddie Whybrow, 18, who set personal bests in the 800m and 1500m freestyle events.

Mike Proctor, 26, was the top performer, finishing sixth in the 50m butterfly.

William Jones, 13, made his debut in the juniors event (11-14 age group) in Crawley, finishing fifth in the 100m freestyle.
