DANIEL Robinson won gold one-handed to lead the way for Blackbird Leys ABC boys at the East Midlands Box Cup.
He took on Chris Sumner from Guernsey in the up to 65kg final, putting together some good combinations against a cagey opponent.
A dislocated shoulder meant Robinson fought the final round with just one arm, but he held on to claim gold in Grantham.
Clubmates Farhaan Karim (52-54kg) and Ivor Price (46-50kg) lost out on unanimous points decisions in their finals to finish with silver medals, while Ajay Desmond (56-60kg) also finished as a runner-up after a split decision.
Daniel Bogatirjovs and Djouly Mallereau reached the semi-finals, while Joshua Olawole was eliminated in the last-eight.
Elsewhere, Frazer Kernan returned victorious from the Porth ABC show in Wales.
The Bicester BC super-lightweight beat local boxer Reece Clarke with a unanimous decision over three rounds.
Kernan was on the front foot in the first round at Porth Rugby Club and caught his opponent with a looping right hand.
The Oxfordshire fighter stepped up the intensity in the second and landed a right hook to the body.
Kernan continued to set the pace in the final round and was awarded victory with Clarke looking unsteady in the latter stages.
Bicester BC head coach Daza Usher was delighted with the performance.
He said: “Frazer boxed fantastically well and deserved this victory.”
