GOALS from Stefan Brown and Reece Fleet gave Oxford City a 2-1 win at Thame United in their latest pre-season friendly.
Brown put the visitors ahead after just three minutes, slotting home from Fleet’s pass.
Thame levelled five minutes later through Dan West.
But City won it five minutes from time when Fleet stole the ball from Thame goalkeeper Craig Hill and fired into an empty net.
Elsewhere, Ardley United defeated Banbury United 2-1 while Didcot Town started their pre-season campaign with a 3-2 victory at local rivals Milton United.
North Leigh lost 2-1 at home to an Oxford United Under 18 XI.
