WITNEY Swimming Club are celebrating after Eleanor Perks claimed a bronze medal at the British Summer Championships.
She set a personal best and club record with 1min 14.44secs in the women’s 13/14 years 100m breaststroke final.
Perks competed in three other events in Glasgow and reached a second final in the 200m breaststroke, where she finished fifth.
Chantal Clavaud, Witney’s head coach, said: “The whole club are extremely proud of Eleanor’s achievements at this highest level.
“It is a massive accomplishment for a small-sized club.”
