Just 106 runs were scored for the loss of 17 wickets as Great & Little Tew 2nd beat Oxford & Bletchingdon Nondescripts 2nd in Division 5.

Piers Myatt took 6-26 from 13 overs as Nondies succumbed for 51.

For the visitors, Ed Oakley (4-23) and Lee Price (3-32) also extracted pace and bounce from the wicket, but Tew scraped home at 55-7 from 14.2 overs.

Leaders Aston Rowant 2nd got back on track by beating Leighton Buzzard Town 2nd by three wickets.

Rameez Dar (84) and Chris Wakefield (50) helped Town to 209 after they were put in, while Ryan Dutton took 5-63.

Yogesh Mistry then took 5-44 for the home side, but Mark Walker (73) and Mark White (72) steered them to 210-7.

Great Brickhill stay just one point behind Rowant, in what already looks a two-horse race for the title, after they saw off lowly Didcot by six wickets.

Julian Hitchman (63) top-scored in Didcot's 206 all out, in which Shannon Tubb took 4-46. Tubb then hit 112 not out as Twyford eased home.

James Cook hit 53 and Alec Inns 48 in Abingdon Vale 2nd's 193 all out against Banbury 3rd, who were then rolled over for 127 as veteran seamer Robin Newman returned 5-52 and despite Ally Jarvis's 58 not out.

Another experienced bowled in the wickets was Andrew Wingfield Digby, who took 4-25 as Bicester & North Oxford 2nd bowled out Brackley for just 110. Mark Fitzsimons (44no) steered Bicester cruised to an eight-wicket win.
