Oxford Hawks Ladies produced a strong home performance to beat Woking 4-2 and they remain second in South Clubs' League Division 1.

Henri Coles struck early, dancing around the D to flick the ball home, and Laura Wingfield Digby converted a short corner moments later.

Woking kept Hawks on their toes by pulling one back, but Zoe Salter and Coles scored again, as the home side showed good fitness levels.

Oxford University defeated Sunbury 4-1 in Division 2.

Banbury made it three wins out of three by beating Bracknell 3-2 and they now top Division 3A.

Victoria Page put them in front, Bracknell equalised from a short corner and then took the lead, and Banbury were reduced to ten when captain Lara Wilkinson was sent to the sin bin.

However, Ali Sturla followed up after Tasha Nunneley’s shot was saved. Nunneley then drew the keeper to hit the winner after slick passing from Page and Ann Glover.

West Witney were delighted to hold City of Oxford 1-1. Lisa Scragg finished off a short-corner strike to put City ahead, before Witney levelled with their own short corner strike from Katie Gatt.

Hawks 2nd lost 4-1 at Southgate 2nd.
