Henley Hawks were sunk by a second-half fightback in a 30-20 defeat at Lydney – and slipped into the National 2 South drop zone.
Lydney centre Azem Tomlins scored after fly half Will Fulton had a kick charged down.
Scrum half Jack Shaylor ignited Henley’s fightback when his 40-metre run set up a try for skipper Matt Payne.
Fulton converted this and added two penalties, either side of one from Lydney fly half Mark Davies.
Hawks No 8 Jack Hennings turned over a maul and launched a counter-attack that wing Christoph Bart finished, Fulton converting for 20-8.
Davies slotted a penalty, but the turning point came when Hennings was yellow-carded and Lydney skipper Paul Price was driven over.
Davies and flanker Dean Jenkins added tries three and four, Davies converting both.
Shaylor went close to securing a losing bonus point on the final whistle.
