Oxford United were left without a game today when their Blue Sqaure Premier match against Rushden was called off following a 1pm pitch inspection.
The majority of fans did not realise that the game was even in doubt - only to turn up at the Kassam Stadium to be told by stewards.
The game was set for bumper 10,000-gate and the call-off is a massive blow for United.
