Greenacre Lin, trained by Cowley open race specialist Brian Clemenson looks the pick in the £5,000 William Hill Cesarewitch final on Tuesday.

The black bitch, one of the top stayers in the country blitzed her field to win in great style in Tuesday's semi-final posting 39.61.

Her task has been made that much easier due to a big pile-up in the second semifinal where first Coup Detat and then Daisyfield Seani, owned by West Ham soccer star Matthew Etherington, cut across the field who were trailing Zigzag Stewart at the time.

It meant that two of the fancied runners, Hondo Dingle and Drominboy Jet, had no chance and were eliminated.

Zigzag Stewart is going for the double, having won last year and should lead them in the early stages, but I doubt that will be enough given the amount of true stayers in the field.

I liked the way Caloona Striker made up heaps of ground on Zigzag in the semi's, and Greenacre and Princess Monalulu have the clock on their side.

But it's Greenacre for me with Caloona close up.

Tuesday's card, which is being televised live by Sky Sports, starts at the earlier time of 7.20pm.

The big race is supported by open races, which includes the final of the www. lovethedogs.co.uk Sprint.
