Forum C edged into the semi-finals of the Oxford & District Association’s Aubrey Hughes Handicap Shield with a 404-401 win against Gladiators B.
Forum’s Greg Boone and Fraser Harris. with Nick Langley as substitute, gave the Gladiators B side of Kevin Giles, Dave Gardner and Paul Knight 120 points start.
Langley put in a very strong display as Forum to triumph by three points.
Forum A won the local derby with Forum H by 25 points. Tak-Wa Yau, Don Harris and Marko Zhang for the H side had a start of 205 points, but Forum A’s Ellis Bicknell, Jens Kaften and Andrew Flint were just too strong.
Bicester A made the last four at the expense of Nielsens, as Tony Gorman, Chris Hawkes and Jason Tustain overpowered Ricki Whiteaway, Ryan Gibbons and Rob Cattell.
