Bicester & North Oxford ran out Bledlow Ridge’s Andy Hale as he attempted to scramble the winning run off the final ball of their MP Sports Cherwell League Division 3 match – which ended in a tie.
After choosing to bat, Bicester made 145-9, Ben Keepings taking 6-74.
Ridge needed 16 with five overs and five wickets in hand. Michael Speight’s three wickets helped turn this into one run off the last ball, when Hale was run out.

Steve Roberts proved yet again he is too hot to handle as he took 7-47 – and his 27th wicket in four matches – in Oxford Downs 2nd’s six-wicket win at Bledlow Village.
Bledlow were blown away for 135 before Downs raced to 138-4 thanks to James Ellwood’s 51 not out.

Hanborough are now bottom after losing for the fourth week in a row, this time by four wickets at Cropredy.
Wayne Hazel took 4-39 as Hanborough succumbed for 178, Aaron Hobley running out of partners on 62 not out.
Pete Cooling (53) and Luke Cherry (58no) saw Cropredy home.

Kingston Bagpuize lost their 100 per cent home record with a seven-wicket defeat against Twyford.
Only Dave Pearce (44) could get going in Kingston’s 112 as Bilal Afzal took 5-36. Thomas Cook also travelled well for the visitors, taking 3-32.
Shamid Mahmood then hit 62 in Twyford’s 113-3.

Witney Mills suffered a four-wicket defeat at home to Dinton 2nd, who climbed off the foot of the table as a result.
Mills’s 158-9 was built around Pete Claridge’s 52.
Kelvin Burrows captured 4-32 for the visitors and then watched Neil Spicer (83no) take his side to 159-6.
