IT’S crunch time in National 3 South West tomorrow when Chinnor host leaders and fellow unbeaten side Bournemouth (2.30).

Both teams have won all ten matches, but Bournemouth, who are averaging more than 60 points a game, have three more bonus points.

Chinnor head coach Jason Bowers said: “They are on top form. They have scored 100 points twice this year.

“But our home has been a fortress. We have only lost to Hartpury College all year.

“Bournemouth will expect to beat us, but they will have to play very well to do so.

“Win, lose or draw on Saturday, we will still be right in the promotion hunt.”

Chinnor bring in wing Pip Seymour, lock Harry Jackman and prop Joe Pickett.

Bournemouth are in bullish mood after hammering Bridgwater & Albion 107-0 last week, according to director of rugby David Dunn.

He said: “Chinnor had a tough game at Barnstaple and didn’t get the bonus point down there.

“So, of the two teams, I would suggest that we will go into the game looking far more confident.”

Julian Watkins returns at blindside flanker in place of Tongan international Sione Vaiomo’unga as Oxford Harlequins host Exmouth.

Vaiomo’unga injured an ankle on his debut – last week’s 45-19 win at Old Redcliffians.

Assistant coach Tony Edney said: “Last week was brilliant for our confidence. After 20 minutes we got on top up front and grew from there.

“We just need to carry it on.”

Henley Hawks can take third place from Hartpury College if they record a bonus-point victory against the students in National 2 South at Dry Leas.

Alex Cheesman comes in at centre with Ali James (hamstring) sidelined, while Ed Church starts at hooker.

New signing Peter Elder, a former England Under 18 lock, is among the replacements.

Henry Lamb moves to centre to cover for his absent twin brother James as Witney host High Wycombe in South West 1 East. James Monks returns on the wing.
