Witney A broke their duck in the Gentworks Oxford & District League Division 1 with a 4-2 victory at Riley B.
Their maiden success came thanks to wins from Colin Cutler in the first two frames and Paul Chester in the last two. Riley’s Lewis Moss also won twice.
Steve Blackman’s 53-break in the final frame earned Witney D a 3-3 draw with Oxford Bowls B in Division 4.
