Oxford City Stars will be able to call on the services of Josh Oliver, Dax Hedges and Gareth Endicote when they travel to Bracknell Hornets on Saturday (face-off 6pm) in the first of a Divsion 1 South double header.

The trip to Berkshire is followed by a home clash on Sunday against Slough Jets at Oxford Ice Rink on Sunday (6.15 face off).

The trio, who have all recovered from injury, come into a squad hit by a number of other injuries.

Cameron Birrell, Wayne Fiddes and Lee Featherstone are struggling to be fit, so Chris Douglas has been placed on stand-by.

Andy Cox will face a late fitness test.

“We are looking at a four point weekend with two teams around us in the standings with whom we are competing for a play-off spot,” said Stars coach Ken Forshee.

“Even though we still have numerous injuries, we aren’t about to use that as an excuse as these games are so important, we need everybody to step up and play the best they can.”
