Oxford United are urging supporters to bring along tomorrow anything that could make a Christmas present.
The U’s are preparing for their annual visit to the Oxford Children’s Hospital at the John Radcliffe next month.
Last year the club received lots of gifts from kind-hearted fans and are looking for more of the same.
But with tomorrow’s home match with Cheltenham the only time United play at the Kassam Stadium before the players and management visit the sick children, the club are looking for some extra help.
“We make the trip every year and our fans always give generously,” said football in the community officer Peter Rhoades-Brown.
“It is a special day for the club in the local community and the children love to meet the players.
“Last year we took loads of gifts that our fans gave us and I am sure it will be the same this year.”
Presents can be any size, but must be in good condition.
