Alex Murphy, of Didcot Barramundi, brought home a gold, a silver and a bronze medal from the Aqua Sullis 50-metre Grand Prix in Bath.

The promising 16-year-old broke the Oxon & North Bucks junior county record when winning the 50m butterfly in 56.29secs.

Murphy (pictured) also gleaned a silver for the 50m breaststroke (29.66) and a bro-nze for the 50m backstroke (29.74).

His 13-year-old brother, David, won gold in both the 50m breaststroke (35.84) and the 50m butterfly (31.14), as well as three bronzes for the 50m freestyle (29.24), 100m butterfly (1.14.04) and 200m IM (2.40.36).

Clubmate Shannon Motha, 12, scooped golds for her 50m butterfly (32.39) and 50m ba-ckstroke (34.65), while Oliver Beard, 12, gained a bronze medal in the 50m breaststroke (39.44).

Didcot’s Danny Amphlett, 14, won three medals in the City of Milton Keynes Winter Level Two Meet.

He took silver for the 50m breaststroke (35.91) and br-onzes in the 50m backstroke (31.78) and 400m IM (5.10.31).

l Bicester Blue Fins’ Georgia Tagg and Ellie Bunce returned with two titles apiece as the team finished third in round two of the National Arena League at Leighton Buzzard.

Tagg, 13, stormed to victory in the 100m backstroke and freestyle, while Bunce, 15, triumphed in the 100m butterfly and breaststroke titles.
