Oxford City Stars seek to bounce back from last weekend’s disastrous results when they embark on another English National League South Division 1 double-header.
Stars, who dropped to ninth place after being hammered 8-1 at bottom club Bracknell Hornets and 5-2 at home to lowly Slough Jets, face on paper what appear to be tougher games this weekend.
They visit fourth-placed Cardiff Devils tonight (7pm), before facing sixth-placed Bristol Pitbulls at Oxford Ice Rink tomorrow (6pm).
Head coach Ken Forshee admitted after last weekend that his side were down in the dumps.
But he is hoping that the setback will strengthen their resolve in the long term.
“Hopefully we will become stronger for it as the season progresses,” he said.
