THAME Town paid for another dismal batting display as they crashed to their second heavy defeat in as many weeks in Division 2 West of the Serious Cricket Home Counties Premier League.
Having managed only 56 in their six-wicket loss at the hands of Falkland seven days ago, Thame were dismissed for 109 in 51.4 overs as they were beaten by seven wickets by Slough on Saturday.
It leaves them rooted to the foot of the table.
In all sorts of trouble at 52-7, a brief rally from Ed Barnett (32) and Michael Higgs (21), who shared a 49-run partnership at least took them into three figures.
However, the final three wickets then fell for nine runs as they failed to set any sort of total that was likely to be competitive.
Although Sam Lachlan and Vandit Jivrajani struck early blows, it never looked like being enough as Slough eased past their target in the 35th over.
