TIM Martin’s brilliant unbeaten century was in vain for Swinbrook, who lost a thrilling Division 5 clash with Kilkenny by eight runs.
Kilkenny posted 219 all out as Duncan Macdonald top-scored on 86.
Martin’s 125 not out led Swinbrook’s chase, but they fell to 211 all out, Darren Gordon taking 6-30, including a hat-trick in a four-wicket over.
Nick Judd’s 5-51 was also not enough as Brill lost by four wickets at home to Garsington.
The home side were dismissed for 72 and despite Judd’s efforts, Garsington reached 73-6.
Pete Talbot’s 6-22 was key as Oxford Rescue & Cassington to a 30-run win at Uffington.
Chasing Rescue’s 79 all out, Talbot helped skittle Uffington for 49.
In Division 6, Kings Sutton posted a 112-run win over Minster Lovell 2nd.
Dan Smith hit 87 in Sutton’s 233 all out and Minster crawled to 121-6.
Steve McComb’s all-round display helped Dorchester to a 26-run win over Risinghurst.
Adrian Redhead (51) and McComb (41) saw Dorchester post 150-5, before McComb took 3-20 as Risinghurst were all out for 124.
Fourteen-year-old Matt Brown stole the show for Shrivenham 2nd, who beat Westbury 2nd by 90 runs.
The debutant hit 43 in Shrivenham’s 158-8, before taking 3-8 from six overs as Westbury were all out for just 68.
Hook Norton 2nd are the early Division 7 leaders following a five-wicket win at Combe 2nd.
Nathaniel Bee (3-13) and James Morris (3-18) helped dismiss Combe for 78, before Richard Cherry hit 49 not out in Hooky’s 81-5.
In Division 8, Nick Pitt’s magnificent 7-44 was in vain as Bampton lost to Steventon by 77 runs.
Matt Dickinson scored 69 in Steventon’s 150 all out, then Lalit Chablani took 5-15 as Bampton crashed to 73 all out.
Matty Turner stood out in East & West Hendred 2nd’s 22-run win at West Ilsley 2nd.
Turner hit 61 not out in Hendred’s 167-7, then took 4-27 in Ilsley’s 145-8.
Mark Alder claimed 5-35 as Radley 2nd beat Witney Swifts 2nd by 65 runs.
Tom Harris hit 44 in Radley’s 210-7, before Swifts slumped to 145 all out.
In Division 10, Jonathan Campion starred as Wolvercote 2nd won by one-wicket win at Chinnor.
Campion took 5-39 in Chinnor’s 156 and hit 63 in Wolvercote’s 160-9.
Hanney 2nd shot Watlington 2nd out for 24, Najmi Zeeshan taking 5-8, in a ten-wicket win in Division 11.
Abdullah Saeed took 5-10 as new boys Cowley dismissed Ducklington 2nd for 35, Cowley racing to 38-0.
