MATT Woods was all but unplayable as Great & Little Tew brushed aside Oxford & Bletchingdon Nondescripts in no time.

Nondies were skittled for a low score for the second week running as Woods produced figures of 7-31 from 17.4 overs to dismiss the hosts for a paltry 88.

The loss of two early wickets only delayed the inevitable as Curtly Slatter (42no) and Ed Gross (32no) came together to steer their side to 91-2 in the 23rd over.

Adam Cook captured 6-33 from 15.4 overs to set Cumnor on the road to victory at Bletchley Town.

With the exception of Matt Shepherd (42) the home side never got going before being bowled out for 134 in the 51st over.

Ali Morteza, who has returned to the club where he made his name after a spell in Nottingham, then hit a fine 69 as Cumnor cruised to 135-3 with almost half their overs to spare.

Oxford Downs overpowered Leighton Buzzard Town in a one-sided affair at Standlake.

Will Sandbach took 4-37 and Simon Watkins 3-34 to help dismiss Town for 149, most of which was supplied by Chris Thompson (58) and Phil Whatmore (30).

Downs suffered few alarms in reaching 153-4, with Watkins (38no) and Andrew Buckingham (30) to the fore.

Great Brickhill pulled off their first win in the top flight, at the expense of Buckingham Town.

Garth Davson (4-25) and Lee Morgan (3-33) bowled with distinction to dismiss Town for 118 inside 41 overs. Jack Parish made 40 before Wayne Platts ran out of partners to be left 33 not out.

Brickhill were always going to win while Graeme Carter was at the crease, and so it proved when they reached 120-3 after 28.2 overs with Carter undefeated on 59.
