Didcot Town Youth and Wantage Concords are celebrating doubles.

Didcot won the Berks & Bucks FA Under 16 Cup with a 2-0 victory over Scot Youth in the final, and also captured the Oxford Invitation Youth League Cup with a 2-1 victory against Kidlington.

Wantage, meanwhile, lifted the Berks & Bucks FA Under 15 Cup with a 5-4 penalty shoot-out triumph over Newport Pagnell in the final at Abingdon Town, and were also crowned champions in the Oxford Mail Boys A League for the second successive year.

Didcot’s goals against Scot Youth came from Taylor Janes and Lewis Wilcox.

And their marksmen against Kidlington were Janes and Sam McDermaid.

It was almost a treble for Didcot as they also finished runners up in the Oxford Invitation Youth League.

Concords secured their Berks & Bucks Cup in dramatic fashion.

Although the game finished 0-0 after extra time, Wantage hit the crossbar twice and had an effort cleared off the line.

In the shoot-out, Concords’ keeper Jack Kelly saved the first Newport penalty.

Then Tom White, Jordan Davies, Ross Tanner Ryan Brooks and Dom Simmons each scored their spot-kicks to earn Concords a thrilling triumph.
