Oxford Sports & Traditional Martial Arts have returned triumphant from the Irish International Open Karate Championships, in Dublin.
The squad of Kai Collins, Jordanne Collins, Patience Kakitie, Claire Maden, Jayne Turnbull, Lindsey Turnbull, plus Joshua and Emily Valentine won six golds, five silver, four bronze medal and a champions cup.
Kai Collins scored a double gold in the Kata section, while Joshua Valentine won the champions cup for captaining the winning team sparring section against the Russian squad.
Emily Valentine struck gold in the mixed sparring section with mum Patience winning gold in the female veterans’ section.
