Charlbury’s six-wicket victory over Oxford in their ECB East Midlands League Division 1 derby was inspired by two of the youngest players on the field.
Under 15 fast bowler Carla Wood returned figures of 5-23 as she tore through the Oxford top order.
Ellie Norton chipped in with 3-24 as the hosts slumped to 149 all out in the 40th over, the only resistance coming from Chloe Dowhunek (45) and Katie Isle (34).
Fellow under 15 Suzy Halsey then hit an unbeaten 46 and with skipper Abi Currie contributing 25, the hosts passed the target for the loss of four wickets.
